“I have one-to-one classes with Paula and I thoroughly enjoy them. I find her teaching method simultaneously relaxing and challenging; it’s very soothing but at the same time she always makes me work hard, sometimes without me even realising! The end result is that after every session I feel massaged inside and out, which is wonderful. She also has a lovely cheery disposition and is a pleasure to be around. Highly recommended!” – Cathy Dunning
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner you can benefit from private one-to-one yoga lessons. If you’ve never done yoga before this can be a great way to explore whether it is for you or to gain some confidence in your practice before joining a class.
Your lessons can be tailored to your needs and goals. For instance, you might want to:
– improve your mobility and flexibility
– reduce stress levels
– improve your posture
– build more strength
– spend more time focusing on certain postures than is possible in a class setting
– improve your overall wellbeing
– simply take some time out for yourself
Or maybe you have a different aim in mind for your personalised yoga programme.
How do I get started?
After an initial no-obligation, free 15 minute phone consultation we can arrange an initial lesson and from there if you would like further lessons, a bespoke programme will be designed for you. We will work together over several weeks or months, depending on your aims.
Block booking is more cost-effective than pay-as-you go sessions. Also, with regular sessions you should start to feel the benefits of your practice far more than the occasional lesson here and there.
How long is a one-to-one lesson?
Lessons typically last an hour. If you would like 75 or 90 minute sessions this can be arranged.
What can I expect during a lesson?
Each lesson will include yoga asana (posture) practice, breath awareness and relaxation.
If the main aim of your practice is stress relief, then relaxation would form a significant part of your lesson. As an Advanced Relax and Renew (restorative yoga) Trainer, Yoga Nidra (yoga sleep) Teacher and Pregnancy Yoga teacher I can also design a tailored restorative or pre-natal practice to suit your needs.
Costs and Policy
Costs are from £65-£75 for 60 minutes or £90-100 for 90 minutes depending on the location of the session and the number of sessions booked in one transaction. Payment in advance is required to confirm your session(s) and I operate a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please contact me here or via email for details.
